Around 20 students left St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica with more knowledge in the healthcare field.
Wednesday was the last day of "M.A.S.H. Camp" held at the med center.
Throughout the last few days, the campers got hands on experience in different areas of the healthcare.
The camp coordinator says that having opportunities like this at St. Elizabeth are important for the students.
"It gives kids the idea of what we have to offer in healthcare, and they get to explore the hospital and see areas that most people never get to see, and learn about professions that most people don't even know about," said Camp Coordinator, Abby Borduik.
She says the employees at St. E's enjoy seeing all the students dressed up in their scrub outfits during camp.
