The Utica Brewers are going pink! Tonight the baseball team will wear pink jerseys to support the fight against breast cancer. Charitable games are nothing new for the brewers, they recently held a military night honoring service people and veterans. The idea to go pink is to help raise money and awareness for breast cancer after a former player lost his mother to cancer. Former Brewer Alex Paluka says, "This is for people that are fighting for their lives every day. You know wearing a pink jersey and wearing a jersey that signifies raising sport and awareness for all types of cancer is truly what it's all about." Brewers owner Butch Russo says, "Brining kids in from across the country to our area trying to help our people in our area for different foundations for different causes I think it's something our organization likes to be involved in and all other organizations should be involved in."
