Clinton Farmers' Market shoppers have a new service they can look forward to every Thursday.
Today was the kick-off of Lutheran Care's shuttle bus service at the market. Shoppers can drop their cars off at Clinton Elementary School and ride the bus to the Village Green. Volunteers say they hope the service will bring out more people while easing some congestion.
"We provide the shuttle, so people don't have to wait for parking, we go around every few minutes so there's not really a long wait, and they will be able to carry the products on the bus back to their cars," says Carla Barrett, Lutheran Care volunteer.
The service is free to the public and will run every Thursday from 11 in the morning until 1 in the afternoon.
