Many people are hoping to "break a leg" tonight - But not to worry, it's a good thing.

It's opening night for "Curtains," a Stage Two Theatre Company production. It's the story of a play within a play about a not-so-talented star of a western play is murdered and the cast and detectives must find out whodunnit. The cast says it's a great way to start their summer.

"We've been working really hard, this cast is really talented and to actually have people in the seats," says Ryan Baker, cast member.

"People of all ages, all steps of life, from teachers to students to choreographers, so it's kind of like a whole community meshed together to perform 1 show," Lucas Rivers, cast member.

Actors took the stage for the play, titled "Curtains" at 7:30 pm. But you can still see the play Friday and Saturday night at the same time in the Herkimer High School auditorium on West German Street in Herkimer.
