Children in Utica enjoyed the outdoors today at the Mohawk Valley Community Action Agency's third annual community day.
Attendees came out to Watson Williams Elementary School.
There were various activities from rock climbing, a double dutch contest and a basketball tournament.
Along with all the fun, kids and teens also learned about drug safety.
"It's helping out families whether it's young the youth or seniors it fits with our mission. It's a great opportunity to show the community what we are we and how we try and support the community but it shows what the community also has to offer," said MVCAA's Executive Director, Amy Turner.
MVCAA's mission is to work with the community to make a difference and change lives.
