Women all over the world participated in the Big Latch On today; an effort to break a world record of moms breastfeeding.
Mothers in Central New York got together in the New Hartford Shopping Center at Whims-N-Doodles.
Not only are moms trying to break a record, but the owner of Whims-N-Doodles says it's a way to support breastfeeding in public places.
"Our tag line is creating healthy and happy environments for children. So breastfeeding we feel it's a wonderful way to start a life for your children. It's a great bonding opportunity for you and your children," says Jennifer Rust, owner of Whims-N-Doodles.
This is Whims-N-Doodles second year hosting the international event to honor world breastfeeding week.
