Not only will the ceremony will honor various residents who support the organization's efforts, but it's also a way to fundraise.
Executive Director Terry Leonard says they are heavily funded by federal, state and county grant contracts that are tied to specific programs.
"It gives us discretionary dollars to use for emergency assistance and for things that are not covered by the contracts. We are getting into the heating season people are getting municipal shut off notices, fuel oil deliveries. These are the things we can help through emergency assistance," said Leonard.
Mr. Leonard says Catholic Charities provides programs for the youth, domestic violence victims and the poor.
This year's recipients will be:Ms. Claudine Grande and "Operation Sunshine" Christmas Giving Program
The ceremony will take place at the Knight's Inn in Little Falls from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Tickets for the luncheon are $20 and can be purchased by calling the office at 894-9917.
