Utica man pleads guilty to stabbing the victim over a girlfriend

A Utica man has pleaded guilty to stabbing another person. 24-year-old John Sabatino is facing two to four years in prison.

According to officials, this past July, Sabatino pulled a knife out during a dispute over a girlfriend at the Rope Walk Apartments in Utica.

The victim was stabbed in the stomach. The District Attorney's Office says the victim did not face any life threatening injuries.
