The shopping madness that's known as Black Friday is just a little over a week away.
And if it's not already, Holiday shopping is soon to be on the minds of many.
To help stay within your budget, HomeOwnership Coordinator, Julie Jalowiec has some reminders during the season.
She says to leave the credit cards at home and bring cash to avoid racking up large bills.
She also says to write down a specific amount on how much you want to spend on each person.
"You've got that euphoria going on during the holiday season but again come January when the bills come, it might be a real shock and a big bust to your budget at that time. You don't want to not be able to pay your household or daily bills just because of the Christmas season," said Jaloweic.
Eyewitness News is told the best deals are between October 1st and December 1st.
