Flashdance the Musical coming to the Stanley

The 1983 hit movie, Flashdance will soon be making its way to a very familiar stage.
The Broadway Theatre League presents Flashdance the musical, which will be premiering at the Stanley Theater.
The cast and crew will set up in Utica in the beginning of December and will put on the show for two days at the end of month.
"This venue is as large as a venue they will find in the United States. This is a perfect place to start the show as big and as bold as it can be. This will represent 1.2 to 1.4 million dollars into the local economy," said John Fehlner, Executive Director of the Broadway Theatre League.
