Oneida County Health Department Spokesperson, Ken Fanelli says as of Thursday, the county has 1260 confirmed cases.
Fanelli says it's very likely that there are more cases out there from people who haven't reported it.
In the past week, he says the county has seen over 200 new cases and is averaging about 80 to 90 cases per day.
He says as of now, Oneida County has the highest number of confirmed cases in New York State.
With the numbers expected to rise even more, he says it's important to get that flu shot.
The Oneida County Health Department administers flu shots at several walk-in clinics.
You can go to the county health clinic on Elizabeth St. on Mondays and Thursdays from 1-3:30 p.m.
Throughout December, the clinic will be open on Friday's from 1-3 p.m.
The vaccine is $25
