Ilion Mayor Does Live Interview On CNN's "Piers Morgan"

As we told you yesterday, the mayor of Ilion sat down for a live
interview on CNN's "Piers Morgan." Morgan asked the mayor how stricter
gun laws could affect Ilion, and the devastating impact the village
would feel if Remington were to leave Ilion. Today, Eyewitness News
spoke with mayor Stephens about his interview.
"Any type of press coverage is good in some way; I believe that. It's gonna make people who might be from Midwest or West Coast, say Ilion, New York. If they didn't know about Remington, they do now. And maybe, hopefully I gave them the feel of how people are from this area," says Mayor John Stephens, village of Ilion.
Mayor Stephen's segment was about 6-minutes, and he shared that time with a former Ohio congressman.
