While some have already released their proposed budget, other municipalities in the area are still working out the numbers.

Yorkville Mayor, Anthony Leone says his village's biggest obstacle is going to be the police department.

Last year, residents decided they wanted to keep the department, which means more costs for the village.

Mayor Leone says they are trying to reduce other expenditures to maintain the quality of service they have in the village.

The Mayor expects to release his budget in April.
