BREAKING: 4 Killed in Herkimer Mohawk Shootings

UPDATE: The Herkimer Central School District, Mohawk Central School District, and Herkimer BOCES remain on lockdown.
UPDATE: The suspect in the Village of Herkimer and Village of Mohawk shootings has been identified by State Police as 64 year old Kurt Myers of Herkimer. Myers is described as a 5' 11'' white male, with a grey beard and wearing a flannel shirt. He is not in custody and is considered armed and dangerous. Police are urging residents in the Village of Herkimer and Mohawk to lock their doors and remain inside. Herkimer County Community College, Herkimer County Office Building, Herkimer Central School District, Mohawk Central School District, Richfield Springs Central School District, and Herkimer BOCES remain in a lock-down. 64 year old Kurt Myers is a suspect in the fatal shooting of four people this morning. State Police say two people were fatally shot at Gaffey's Car Wash in the Village of Herkimer, another two people were fatally shot at a barber shop in the Village of Mohawk. Governor Cuomo is reportedly in Herkimer for a press conference. Stay with Eyewitness News for more information as it becomes available.
