The North Utica Applebee's just finished getting a face-lift.. while
helping out for a good cause. Since early March, the Applebee's has been
preparing for it's remodel by auctioning all of it's memorabilia,
photos and various items that decorate it's walls. And all of the money
raised through that auction goes toward granting wishes to children in
our community through Make-A-Wish Central New York.
" The new look here represents more of the community. We took down pictures of celebrities and things like that, and went for a more community-based look with community based photos, people from the region and the area," says Jerry Synrod, Applebee's general manager.
And the North Utica Applebee's says it's raised close to $1800 dollars during the auction, with all proceeds going to Make-A-Wish.
