Freezing temperatures may be threating Central New York but that didn't cool down the action on the grid iron. The RFA Black Nights hosted the Red Hawks from Central Square. To RFA Stadium we go and Black Knight fans were excited to see their team at home for the first time this season.

Early second quarter action and senior quarterback Mitchell Jones airs one out for Malcolm Anderson. That forty-three yard connection set the red hawks up for their third score of the day making it 21-7. Ensuing possession for the black knights, Anthony Capron finds Zachary Barrigar for a nice first down. But just a few plays later and disaster strikes for RFA, Malcolm Anderson with the fumble recovery. And Central Square would make RFA pay. Junior quarterback Robert Mooney flashes his cannon, connecting with Joey Battaglia for a thirty one yard touchdown strike.

Onto the second half, RFA down by twenty and they put the ball in the hands of fullback Richard Stapleton. Stapleton with some tough running plows through for the touchdown making it thirty four--twenty-one.

However, Central Square would go on to win in a shootout forty-eight to thirty-five, dropping the black knights to "O" and three, leaving a heavy weight match up for next Friday with Utica Proctor.
