It's always nice to get away on vacation, but are you packing wisely to avoid luggage costs when flying?
There are different ways to limit the amount of items you pack on a trip.
Travel Consultant, Kim Wilder at the Travel Masters in Whitesboro says travelers can be fined up to $100 if bags are over fifty pounds.
However, there are ways to avoid heavy luggage.
Wilder says to use a travel size when taking shampoos and deodorants instead of taking the full size.
She also says to stick with packing lighter to fit everything in one suitcase.
This prevents having to check more then one bag and avoiding more fees.
