Ghost Hunters in The Mohawk Valley

Halloween season only comes once a year, but have you ever though about spirits that may linger all year around?
Bernadette Peck, the founder of Ghost Seekers discovered some things related to movies and books you may have read.
"This is true haunted stories that we've labored through during our investigation here," said Peck.
Peck and her team have done paranormal investigations in two Rutger mansions.
These were done in 2010 and 2011 to see if there were any spirit energy in either of the buildings.
"We found lots in both buildings. What we do is collect what's saved in energy and present it to the public," said Peck.
The group says after finding these spirits, The Ghost Seekers of Central New York decided to hold a special two day tour of the houses in an effort to also raise money to restore the mansions properties.
But, the spirits investigators say they discovered pre-date modern times.
Peck says the history goes back before the civil war. She says they were once private residences, and at one point one of the mansions was used as a nursing home. She says there is a lot of energy left behind.
After all the investigations, they say there is quite a variety of paranormal activity.
While the Rutger mansions may stand empty today, Peck says she believes their spirits are not completely gone.
"The lives that people lived and what transpired these homes is saved. Me and my team, we believe in life after death, and we believe that they're trying to communicate with us," said Peck
Ghost Seekers of Central New York are also selling their first book called "Haunted Mohawk Valley."
They will be hosting a first ever ghost train at the Adirondack Railroad Station.
