The Maynard Firefighters have been hosting their Halloween party for over fifty years now. This year, a magician brought plenty of tricks and treats for the children tonight.
Families, friends and neighbors gathered at the Maynard Fire Department for the annual Halloween party. This year Domino the Great made an appearance entertaining the children with magic tricks and of course Ruffles the Bunny.
But, nothing tops the best part about Halloween than candy.
Children of all ages also came out to show off their costumes. Seven-year-old Dominique Romanelli says she also learned an important rule on this special night.
"To stay with my mom and do not walk to different people's houses... don't walk to everybody's house because there may be somebody bad there," said Dominique.
The Maynard Firefighters say the party is a way of giving back to the community.
"We have a strong community here... it's important to have a safe place for the children on Halloween for them to enjoy themselves," said one Firefigher.
Mark Biamonte came out with his whole family.
"Great family gathering.. a good time to be out and enjoying everybody and coming out as a community," said Biamonte.
