Facebook has become a daily fixation in our everyday lives.

Whether is keeping up with family, or knowing the latest gossip.

But, what about keeping someone's memory alive?

Eyewitness news wanted to ask opinions on whether or not it's appropriate to keep an active Facebook page after someone's death.

Andrea Abbott's father passed away in 2009, and she sees her father's page as a memoir.

"We continue to post pictures on the page and write things on his wall as a memory," she said.

Even though her father is gone, Amanda says the Facebook page is another way to look back on all the good times.

"You feel good because I feel like the memories are still there, and you know the pictures and everything, you can go back," said Abbott.

When asked the question on our own Facebook page, one Facebook friend feels that leaving an active Facebook was a good idea, but under certain circumstances.

Inna Sen, whose dear friend passed says there is no reason to keep a Facebook page up once a person is gone.

"I feel like once a person passes away, that should be put aside because if it's still active, you wonder who's doing it?" said Sen.

Some people also said that ultimately, it should be the family members choice on whether or not the Facebook should stay.
