To procrastinate, or plan ahead for Holiday Shopping?

With Christmas almost a week away, time is ticking to finish up all of that Holiday shopping.
It's the most wonderful time of the year, and certainly is the busiest for holiday shoppers.
But for some, the large crowds and atmosphere is something they enjoy when gathering those Christmas gifts.
For Brandon Baker, he says this is the perfect time to check off that holiday shopping list.
"It's right dead center in the middle of the season. You want to be right in the thick of the holiday cheer. You're surrounded by people who want to enjoy buying stuff. You're surrounded by a good emotion of the season," said Baker.
With 8 days before Christmas, Brandon says this isn't last minute shopping at all.
"That's when everyone's excited. It's when you're really thinking really hard what you want to get and for who," he said.
Like Brandon, Austin Phelps doesn't see Christmas shopping with these kinds of crowds any sort of hassle.
"It's kind of energetic, I guess it kind of fills the adrenaline because of the big crowds and everything," said Phelps.
Despite that Holiday cheer filling the air, one shopper tells Eyewitness News, this is certainly last minute shopping for the holidays.
He describes the environment as a madhouse.
Donald Lockwood says procrastination isn't the key when buying your gifts.
"It's better to be done ahead of time, and just get the stuff we need and get out of here," said Lockwood.
But, Donald will admit there is one positive side about waiting.
"We've seen a lot more sales on some of the stuff we already bought compared to the prices now," he said.
