Whitesboro Man Arrested for Possessing Child Pornography

58-year-old Herbert K. Koestner of Whitesboro is charged with a felony count for having child pornography on his computer.
The New Hartford Police responded last week to the Best Buy store on Commercial Drive regarding a computer that had been brought to the store for service that may contain child pornography.
The laptop was seized and examined. Pictures and images of children under the age of sixteen engaged in sexual acts were found on the computer.
Koestner was arraigned in the Town of New Hartford and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
