T-C Glass wins soccer title

Kris Shearer scored two goals as Tri-County Glass defeated Team NAPA, 3-1, in Sears/Latte Lounge adult women’s soccer championship game Thursday at Swart-Wilcox Fields in Oneonta.
Brinn Spencer also scored for Tri-County, which advanced to the championship with a 10-3 semifinal rout of OST/Time to Tan on Tuesday. Shearer also scored twice in the semifinal victory.
Kirsten Clapper, who plays for the Oneonta State women’s soccer team, scored for Team NAPA. Clapper had two goals Tuesday in NAPA’s 6-0 drubbing of Catella LLC & WZOZ.
Margaretville plays J&M Auto at 6 p.m. today at Swart-Wilcox Fields for the men’s championship.
