SUNYIT men's basketball player and Proctor grad Sejad Gromilic named NEAC player of the week.

Sejad Gromilic (Bosnia / Utica-Proctor) has been selected as last week's NEAC Student Athlete of the Week for his outstanding performance in two games for the Wildcats.  Gromilic's selection makes him the first SUNYIT Men's Basketball player to be named NEAC Student Athlete of the Week this season.

Sejad Gromilic has been selected as the NEAC Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week after an outstanding all-around week for the SUNY Institute of Technology Wildcats.  The junior guard filled up the stat sheet during a 1-1 week for the Wildcats, posting two-game averages of 25 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals per contest while shooting 56 percent (19-for-34) from the field and 53 percent (8-for-15) from the 3-point line.  Gromilic scored a game-high 26 points to go along with six rebounds, five assists and four steals in a thrilling 73-71 victory over conference foe Keuka College on Saturday and followed that up with 24 points and team highs of seven boards, five assists and two steals in an 81-68 setback to NEAC rival Wells College yesterday.
