Little Falls Miners beat Uica Falcons 12-0

The Little Falls Miners beat the Utica Falcons 12-0 last night in an exhibition game at Veteran's Memorial Park.
The Miners used all 10 pitchers on thier roster, and they did not disappoint, combining for a two-hitter with nine strikeouts and three walks. Dan Seip (Holy Cross) picked up the win pitching a 1-2-3 second inning. Mike Kellar (Niagara) struck out the side in the third inning.
Chris Kowalski (Boston College) went 3-5 with two RBI's and two runs scored. Joe Witkowski (St. John's) also went 3-5 with three RBI' and a runs scored.
The Miners broke the game open with four runs each in the 6th and 8th innings.
The Miners will open the 2007 season Friday at home against the Amsterdam Mohawks, first pitch will be at 7:05.
