Benefit for Alexandra Kogut Memorial Award

Laughter can often be a good distraction in tough times. Tonight comedy Central New York hosted a special benefit show for the Alexandra Kogut Memorial Award. The "ladies night" fundraiser featured three female comedians. Organizers say they wanted to offer some laughs and contribute to a great cause.
Co-Producer of the show Mike Bova says, "We just felt compelled to do it for the Alexandra Kogut Fund and we wanted to donate a little bit more money, so we donated $5 at the door."
The show raised over $400 for the Memorial Award.
