Soccer, field hockey teams prep for scrimmages

season, Mike Hackney and Mitch Miller join four-year starting goalie
Ben Banker, Alex Cookhouse and Rourke Devlin as seniors for
Morrisville-Eaton's boys soccer team.
Coach Duane LeBlanc team's went
11-9 last year and could do better this year as off-season work has
made the returning corps.
"Everyone is excited," said LeBlanc duing a drill called World Cup. "We have a lot of promising players." Hackney and Miller had a busy summer that included competing in the Empire State Games in track. The bulk of the players stayed busy a few nights each week playing pick-up games while some also were on a travel team. Full story at Oneida Dispatch.
