A trio of former United States national women’s soccer standouts became a foursome Thursday.

National Soccer Hall of Fame spokesman Jack Huckel said 1999 U.S. World Cup star Brandi Chastain expects to play in the 2007 Hall of Fame Game.

The women’s exhibition between the Washington Freedom and Connecticut Reds is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at the Soccer Hall’s At-A-Glance Field _ two hours after the start of the 2007 Induction Ceremony. Mia Hamm, Julie Foudy, Bobby Smith and Alan Rothenberg will enter the Oneonta-based shrine this year.  Full story at The Daily Star.
