"Dance The Night Away;" An Event To Remember Alexandra Kogut

Family and friends said their final goodbyes to Alexandra Kogut in
October, but some community members are keeping her memory alive.
Some of Alex's former classmates are hosting "Dance The Night Away," an event on Saturday, January 12th from 9pm - 2am. People can spend the night at Daniele's Banquet Specialists in New Hartford listening to 3 DJ performances while experiencing a light show. Coordinators say it's a night to have fun, while remembering Alex.
"We just wanted to get something together that would involve the entire community, as well as show the positives rather than negatives, gather everyone, all different age groups. The money your spending to take towards the event goes toward the great cause, and then, trying to take your mind off of that by the video screens. Family and friends to reunite and have a good time for just the night and enjoy it," says Ryan Schiavo, event coordinator
Tickets are $15 dollars. They can be bought at Daniele's or at the door. Attendees must be 18 or older. All proceeds will be donated to the Alexandra Kogut Memorial Fund at New Hartford High School.
