Donnelly strikes out 17 as Wave earns win

Kyle Donnelly struck out a Legion-best 17 in a two-hitter Tuesday, and Jon Wolfanger homered and tripled as Oneonta Post-259 cruised past host Cooperstown, 9-0, at Doubleday Field.

Brett Laible broke up Donnelly’s no-hit bid with a single in the fourth inning. Laible also singled in the sixth inning against Donnelly, who improved to 5-0 in his fifth season of Legion baseball. Full story at the Daily Star.
