Orlando Rodriguez hit a three-run home run in the top of the eighth inning Wednesday as the Oneonta Tigers earned a 6-2 victory over the host Vermont Lake Monsters in the New York-Penn League.

Rodriguez’s homer snapped a 1-all tie. With one out, Cory Middleton was hit by a pitch and took second on a wild pitch by Garrett Bass. Casper Wells then walked to put runners on first and second.

Rodriguez pinch-hit for Kyle Peter (0-for-2) and drove a 3-1 pitch over the left-field wall for a 4-1 Oneonta lead. Full story at the Daily Star.
