Oneonta’s Sendy Vasquez pitched well enough Sunday, but one bad inning and the performance of opposing pitcher Glenn Gibson squashed any hopes of a victory.

Vermont scored three times off Vasquez in the second inning en route to a 4-1 New York-Penn League victory in front of 1,652 fans at Damaschke Field.

"I don’t know what happened (in the second inning)," Vasquez said. "My pitches weren’t working. I made adjustments and kept the breaking ball down after that." Full story at the Daily Star.
