Oriskany will battle against Odessa-Montour in regional

By: Staff. The Section III Class D champion Oriskany baseball team found out Friday who it will be playing in the Central Region final on Monday.
The Redskins will square off against Section IV champion Odessa-Montour in the first round of the state tournament. The game will start at 5 p.m. and will be held at DeLutis Field.
Odessa-Montour, which was seeded third in the Section IV Class D playoffs, rolled to a 12-5 win over No. 1 seed Edmeston in the Section IV title game at Conlon Field in Binghamton on Friday. It was the first-ever sectional baseball title for Odessa-Montour, which improved to 16-7 overall this year. Full story at the Rome Sentinel.
