Sherrill wins in Legion baseball

SHERRILL - Ryan Dungey's two-run homer sealed the 9-3 win against Adrean Post in American Legion baseball on Monday. In the sixth inning a walked Derek Smith was sent home with Dungey's homer off of pitcher Steve Campbell on two out.Dungey went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a homer and three RBIs, but he wasn't the only Sherrill batter whose game was on.
Down 2-0 in the first inning Matt Sayles hit a RBI single on two outs. Sherrill (10-7) went on to score four runs in the fourth inning with RBIs from Shane Sullivan and Jermy Roden. Full story at Oneida Dispatch.
