Few answers for lack of local baseball interest

UTICA — Whether it is dead after tonight or still clinging to life support, there is no question the New York State League of Professional Baseball has been less than a success.

The question is, why?

"I'm just scratching my head," said Jay Acton, the NYSLPB founder and commissioner. "I think Pat (Utica Common Council president and Oneida County Sports Authority chairman Pat Donovan), the mayor (Tim Julian), the county executive (Anthony Picente) ... we're all scratching our heads."  Full story at UticaOD.com
