Afton rides shutout streak into state play quarterfinal

By Rob Centorani. OK, they haven’t allowed a run in the postseason.
They’ve
outscored their four playoff opponents this spring by a combined 40-0
and won their 13th consecutive Section Four Class D championship with a
5-0 victory over Hancock on Saturday.
Additionally, the Crimson Knights have advanced to the state semifinals in 11 of the last 12 seasons.
