Campbell fires 83 in first round at Cornell

By: staff.Rome Free Academy golfer Matt Campbell shot a first-round score of 11-over par 83 on Sunday at the state tournament being played at Cornell University’s Robert Trent Jones Golf Course.
Campbell, who is making his third appearance in the state tournament, is one of nine team members from Section III at the 36-hole event which was scheduled to conclude today. Full story at the Rome Sentinel.
