Local reaction to Bonds mixed

 When Barry Bonds sent his historic 755th home run over the left-center field fence at Petco Park, baseball commissioner Bud Selig sat stoic, neither rejoicing nor sulking.

The fans present for the record-tying rocket were mixed in their reactions as well. The assortment of fans booing, cheering and those void of expression illustrated the strong divide between the opinions of baseball followers.

In the Mohawk Valley, fans are similarly divided in their opinions of whether or not Bonds is worthy of the most hallowed record in America's pastime.
