Hamilton swimmers aid cancer research

CLINTON — Representatives of Hamilton College's
swim teams participated in an ocean mile swim to help raise money for
cancer research July 14 near Nantasket Beach in Hull, Mass.Head coach T.J. Davis helped organize the team. Stephanie Capizzi, a junior, was the leading fundraiser with $11,000 and the team totaled $15,000. Other participants in the Swim Across America event were alumni Brittany Achin — a New Hartford High School graduate — Liz Kennedy, Kristina Orsini-Platzer, Joe Sipos, Brendan McCormick and former assistant coach Abby Brethauer.
Cudas swim well at local meet
The Clinton Cudas Swimming Club finished third overall at the Adirondack swimming Long Course Championship held July 27-29 at Colgate University. Full story at UticaOD.com
