Presenter talks about effects of synthetic drugs and other substances

Although the synthetic drug epidemic appears to be slowing, it still remains a hot topic.
Continuing to raise awareness about the so-called bath salts and other similar substances, two groups are teaming up to spread the word.
Herkimer County Community College and the Herkimer County Prevention Council sponsored a presentation about the dangers of substance abuse.
The presentation was called "Barley Legal: Dangerous Substances Under the Regulatory Radar."
"We want them to hear the names, see the pictures understand the particular kinds of responses that are widely unpredictable with a lot of these and the impact that this might have on their brains, the lives and their futures," said Presenter, Michael Nerney.
