Hometown Heroes; PFC Tommy Zmudosky

Tommy Zmudosky, of Rome NY, enlisted in the Army in 2011. After his enlistment he did basic training at Ft. Benning, Georgia. Then, Tommy was deployed to Afghanistan from Joint Base Lewis McCord in Tacoma, Washington.

Private First Class Zmudosky is the 24-year old son of Tom and Carm Zmudosky and the brother of Tessa. Tommy is a graduate of Rome Free Academy class of 2007. He also continued his education at Mohawk Valley Community Community College.

When he returns from his current undisclosed post, he plans to stick with the Army and go through Special Forces Selection and Ranger School. PFC Tommy Zmudosky, Eyewitness News salutes you as our Hometown Hero.
