Joe sits down with Lisa DeFrees, Board Member, Sculpture Space. Lisa explains that Sculpture Space is a 38 year old residency program devoted entirely to sculpters, which brings in artists from all over the world. The residency lasts for 2 months, in which time the artists have total access to the state of the art studio space, materials, housing, and the time to create. Their work then goes on to be displayed in contemporary galleries within the community and in other cities. The Sculpture Space's annual Mardi Gras party is their largest fundraising event of the year and will be held on Feb. 22nd at the Radisson Hotel in Utica.
