ORISKANY LOSES 9-4 in CLASS D STATE SEMI-FINALS!
BARRY CAVANAUGH.

Chapel Field's baseball team ended Oriskany's season with a 9-4 victory at MacArthur Park in Binghamton yesterday in the NYS Final Four Semi-Finals. Oriskany tried to "erase" an 8-0 deficit, but all they really needed to "erase" was the bottom half of the 3rd inning and things may have turned out differently for the hard charging Redskins.

Chapel Field Section IX's champion scored 8 times in the third to open up the game and put Oriskany's "back to the wall". Oriskany's starting pitcher Mike St. Thomas started the inning by walking the first two batters and the Chapel Field Lions offense started to roar. Full story at My Hometown Sports.
