U.S. luger who crashed during Olympics announces retirement

By: Staff. Samantha Retrosi of Saranac Lake has announced her retirement from the USA Luge team.
Retrosi, who is the daughter of Rome native Rick Retrosi and the granddaughter of Kathryn Retrosi of Rome, was a 2006 Olympian and also accomplished several other feats during her luge career. Full story at the Rome Sentinel.
