Oneonta grad gets win out of 'pen

Oneonta High graduate Mike Connolly pitched 4 1/3 innings of scoreless relief Tuesday, leading the Wichita Wranglers to a 7-3 victory over Tulsa in a Double-A Texas League game.

Left-hander Connolly, 25, allowed three hits and didn’t have a walk or strikeout.

The victory improved Connolly to 3-2 this season. He has a 4.55 ERA for the Kansas City Royals’ affiliate. Full story at the Daily Star.
