MINERS STUMBLE AGAINST AMSTERDAM IN 7-2 DEFEAT

by Hoffman Wolf - Nate Leskiw and Marc Ortega both had two hits for theMiners, but it wasn't enough as Little Falls fell to the Amsterdam Mohawks, 7-2, in a New York Collegiate Baseball League game at Shuttleworth Park on Tuesday night. The Mohawks took command of the game with a five-run second inning off of Miners' starter Caleb Thielbar, highlighted by a leadoff home run by Michael Seaborn and a two-run blast by Nate Lape.
