Zogby to Collaborate with Newspaper in 2012 Presidential Campaign

By: WUTR Staff
Updated: January 5, 2012

The Washington Times and Independent Political Analyst John Zogby will work together and launch a new series of 2012 presidential election surveys.

The surveys will keep track of the primary and general election candidates, issues and public opinion.

Surveys will be released before significant primary voting events through the election in November. Each poll will include five basic "horse race" questions that will tally President Obama's approval ratings, opinions of the GOP field and match-ups between the top two or three Republicans and the current president.

Washington Times editors and John Zogby will collaborate on creating "Wildcard Questions" to gauge hot button issues of interest to the voters.
