Victims Can Apply for Flood Recovery Grant Program

Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee Flood Recovery Grant Programs are now accepting applications.
Residents and business owners recovering from damages can apply for a $30 million grant program. The program consists of two components.The first is $21 million through the business flood recovery grant program.That money is directed towards physical-flood related damage.
The second part is $9 million through the Flood Mitigation Grant Program. That money is used to support flood control projects in waterways impacted by the storms.
