Police: West Winfield Man Brings Shotgun into Bar

A West Winfield man is in custody after reportedly bringing a shotgun into Patty's Pub in the Village of Bridgewater.
21-year-old Dustin Orcutt is accused of being involved in a bar fight before he allegedly went back to his house on Route 20 and grabbed a shotgun.
Police reports say Orcutt returned to the bar through the backdoor of the kitchen where the other party involved in the fight was located.
Customers at the bar were able to stop Orcutt right before police arrived causing him to flee the bar through the woods.
Officials say they located the shotgun near a stream behind the bar and began to search. They were able to contact Orcutt on his cell phone. After two hours Orcutt surrendered and was taken into custody.
Orcutt is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon. He was arraigned in the Town of Bridgewater Court with bail set at $10,000.
