A lucky bunch of area high school students had a chance to shadow one of our state legislatures in Albany.
The three students spent a day shadowing State Senator James Seward to get an inside look of how government runs.
Seward says he hopes the students will take their new-found knowledge home with them to help educate their classmates.
The students visited the capital as part of the 12th Annual Students Inside Albany Conference, which was sponsored by the League of Women Voters of the New York State Education Foundation.
